Essaouira day tour  from Marrakech begins at your hotel in Marrakech and continues to Essaouira at 08:30 a.m. First, we'll drive across the Haouz plains to Chichaoua village, where you may grab a cup of coffee before continuing on to Sidi Mokhtar. On our way, you will pass through an Argan tree forest, where you may see goats climbing the trees. We'll snap some shots before continuing on to Essaouira.
When we get at Essaouira, the first thing we do is go to the harbor, which has a fishing port and old Portuguese walls. There are still medieval military cannons lined up overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Then proceed to the Medina (old city), which has well-preserved fortifications from the 18th century. La Scala, the Medina's main landmark, was created to defend against foreign sea invasions. We next proceed to Bab Laalouj (one of Essaouira's main gates) and the Mellah, the old Jewish district.
Various art galleries, souvenir shops, and thuya wood craft businesses are lined up along the path. For a wonderful seafood lunch, visit one of the neighborhood cafés. Following that, we travel to a Kasbah that was once a military fortress. If you enjoy going to the beach. Take a stroll around Mogador's beautiful beach. You may sunbathe while watching amateur kitesurfers or windsurfers. Finally, arrive reach Marrakech late in the afternoon.

My day trip to Essaouira was an enriching journey filled with captivating sights and cultural encounters. The drive was a scenic adventure. Upon arrival in Essaouira, I was instantly drawn to the city’s laid-back charm and the invigorating sea breeze. Exploring the historic medina was like stepping back in time, with its narrow alleys bustling with activity and vibrant souks showcasing local craftsmanship. Walking along the fortified walls, I marveled at the breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean, while indulging in freshly caught seafood at the port added a delightful culinary dimension to the experience. Essaouira’s relaxed atmosphere and artistic vibe left a lasting impression, making it a day trip well worth taking from Marrakech. Thanks for having arranged this unforgettable day tour with my kids.
